Things to do:
- learn the basics (if you don't)
- take a lot of photos
- get more lenses
- experiment
- keep taking photos
About your photo: focus is really good and you have a nice DOF; I'd like to add that maybe you could crop the lower part were the flowers are, which is a little distracting... maybe trying another perspective or different perspectives of the same subject for a collage could be good also =)08/06/06 @120
